Founded in the Early 1960s
Novex’s journey began with the creation of the Novitane line at B.F. Goodrich, a pioneer in advanced materials.
December 1987
Relocation and Rebranding
After B.F. Goodrich shut down its Akron, OH Novitane line in December 1987, Novex, Inc. was born. The company was purchased and the operation relocated to Wadsworth, OH, adopting the name “Novex,” which was previously used by B.F. Goodrich for one of their timing belts.
1990s
Early Focus and Growth
Initially, Novex specialized in urethane sheeting and a limited range of urethane conveyor belting. Over time, the product offering has expanded to include more than 25 belting specifications and a diverse array of sheeting options, meeting the demands of various industries.
2024
Expansion into a New Facility
In mid-2024, Novex expanded into a state-of-the-art facility in Barberton, OH, doubling its operational capacity to meet increasing customer demand and support future growth
